IT MAKES A WHOLE LOT MORE SENCE TO ME THAN SPENDING $200 ON A SET THAT YOU ARE AFRAID TO SCRATCH WITH A CHAIN, OR SOMEONE MIGHT STEAL THEM. JOHN

PO put a set of these on my truck. Drilled out one rivet that holds the front spring hanger to the frame, put a grade 8 bolt through this hole and through the rear hole of the tow hooks, match drilled the front hole of the tow hooks through the frame, and slipped in a spacer to compensate for the thickness of the spring hanger. Works good with the spring clips like you have to keep the tow rope in place.

I've put as much strain on them as my truck is capable of, mostly pulling logs out of the woods, with fat tires in 4-low and weight in the bed, and never bent one. They are tougher than they look.

Give them a call, that is the # on the sticker on the shelf and on my receipt. For some reason they were called "Tow Hook 16 piece" in their computer system at my local store.

I have that exact pair on my fish house so I can pull it around the lake. They have been there at least 10 years.
