Why do you want us to photoshop-ruin it?
XXl could but some butt lube on the hood too.
Just kidding...I think a mild drop and some 16s might look better. Slamming takes away from the classic lines. Actually, it just pulls your eyes away from the lines and to the rims. A mild drop accents the truck.
But that's just IMO.
Nice ride.

Is she really?

Ok im 26 and when I was 14 I saw a yellow 72 burn out and right then and there I said "ok 72 chevy....dream truck" I saw this one and PAID OUT THE ASS FOR IT........but shes been an excellent daily driver. I wanted to make her a fast street truck, you know being california and all, I dont know I love her the way she is but feel her soul would be more suited to driving too fast and smoking fff..ffff.ffffords. Hehe Her bed was rotten so i pulled it out, interior is sweet and engine is ok, got a Edelbrock 750 CFM on her thats it.

People always want to offer me $$$ for her but Ive waited too long to have a baby like this.

You guys rock! I freaken love this board!!!!!

So that's what mine is supposed to look like. LOL Mine was wrecked in 73 and repainted...somekind of blue, and they put on a front end from about a 69. You have inspired me to start the body work on my truck. By the way, always liked those side marker lights.

Beautiful truck! IMO, less is more in the looks dept. I LOVE ZR-1 wheels, 17x11 rear and 17x9.5 front. This size looks good stock height or a 2/4 drop (max). My thing is to fill the wheel wells with mostly rim. I love 18s on stock height trucks too, with 285/50s. I'd rather spend the dough on motor, stereo, brakes, bigger sway bars, and nicer shocks than a drop or bags.

Your truck is sooooooo clean, the less you do it, the more big money offers you'll get I think. If it were mine:
ZR-1 wheels
Big sway bars, poly bushings
Gas shocks
Praise dyno pads/shoes
700r4
All this stuff adds to stock ability without major mods so if someone wants a stocker, all you have to do is change rims. Everything else just works great and makes a nice driver.

Course, I'm always for a big mouse motor -- 427 if you can swing it but 383s are easy and not too hard on the wallet. I've seen guys with big small blocks all painted up and dressed to look stock, even the air cleaner stickers, but step on the gas and BAM!! bye bye . . . . I just love a good classic sleeper that looks stock, or close to it, but works like new or better.

Do what makes you happy though, just don't do anything that can't be undone and your resale will be better, should you ever need it.

Again, BEAUTIFUL truck.

Very Nice truck, nice color, ditch the wheels though, maybe go for some factory wheel covers or hubcaps. The ones on it now just don't look right for some reason.

I think any one on the board would kill to have such a nice ride.

You're lucky to find one without a lot of problems.
