Anyone Here Into Model Railroading?

I have a couple old model train sets, accessories, etc. from the mid 50's (Marx) to early 60's (Revell HO). This stuff probably last saw the light of day in the mid 60s. I'm the original owner and would like see it all go to a good home. A lot of it is still stored in the original packaging.

Is this stuff worth anything?

Can anyone here recommend how to proceed?

Re: Anyone Here Into Model Railroading?

I love trains. I had N scale trains when I got married - having children did those in. My wife bought me HO trains as my children were mostly grown - having grandchildren made those go into storage. I now have a large LEGO train layout with a couple of trains.

I don't know the exact answer to your question, but I'm confident there's monetary value in your trains.

I still have my dad's Lionel and my Marx trains from when I was a youngun. I don't remember what gauge they were/are classified as. I also Did the N gauge for a while about 30 years ago, but really haven't touched them since then.I enjoyed building the layouts more than the details of the various train styles .
