First Gen Bikini Tops

I found a guy who will make up bikini tops for first gen K5's. He is making a 1/4 top for my truck and I have the Fast-trac soft top mounting on the front. He has a system for people without any mounting hardwear...Let me know if anyone want to get one...

Tony, just let me know when you want me to e-mail all the people who have contacted me about the possibility of a bikini top. Won't want to do that probably until your guy gives you a price and how he wants them to contact him. I know I want one.

I have 68 names of people interested now.

Wish List

What I would like is a top like w've got on our Hummers in the Army: It's modular and can cover the entire back, or go bikini, or go topless with no tools. I just bought a soft top (my first) and I have a bikini. If anybody could or would make one that works, ie a 2-piece soft top, that would be the !@#$.

What kind of soft top did you buy? My old kayline can be full coverage, roll up the back, roll up the back & sides, or drop the whole thing into the space behind the rear seat. It does have some metal frames that go over the doors, but they pullout/go back in easy.

I have the Fast-trac soft top now, but don't want to drive down the freeway with the sides and back off to much cause it flaps around and at over $600.00 to replace, I don't want to be buying another one anytime soon.
But the bikini top should be under $100.00 and if that get beat to death I can get another one.
The top I want will be a two piece type with a zipper to add the second cover for my back seat.
