Help with rearend stamping

I dont know what the stamping means on my original 68 rearend. I found a 5 lug from a 71, but will the numbers and letters tell me the year off the rearend? I really want to keep the truck " numbers matching" could I have the axles swapped?

What are you actually trying to do? Post the stampings from the two rear ends and we will see what we can come up with.
