Big Red War Wagon

91 V3500 454
Currently working on a winch bumper.
Have to sell some other projects to afford my lift and tires. 6" lift with 35s is the plan.

Re: Big Red War Wagon

You going to try and hide that behind the front bumper? Build a custom one off?

Re: Big Red War Wagon

I like the second pic better. I hope that is where you plan on running it and as 4x4chase asked, build a custom bumper around it.

Re: Big Red War Wagon

Its going in between the frame rails, I was going to build a cover to hide it/protect it from the top but decided to leave the top open. I have built 2 or 3 bumpers for newer trucks with lots of angles but think a more squared traditional bumper looks better on these trucks. Here are the other 2 front bumpers I built. I got rained out this weekend and didn't make much progress but am trying to make it sturdy and not stick out 4' past the truck.

This is what it looks like right now the main structure. The PDF is some ideas, the end product will be coated with some type of rhino liner product and a few led lights.

Re: Big Red War Wagon

Haven't made any progress on the bumper, I did put new rotors and brakes on the front and found out one of my locking hubs is all chewed up. Will this lift kit work on my truck and the 315/75/16 tires clear? I plan on buying 2" wheel spacers for the rear.
