Re-jet small body 2gc for a 350?
Will a small body 2gc support a mild 350?
By mild, I mean: 9.5:1 cr, 1.72" valves, mild cam( https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mel-cl-mtc-1) , good quench, stock ignition, cast iron manifolds. It should be about 225hp± What would it take to set up the 2gc that came on the 327, so it would work on the 350 I'm building? Yes, I am 100% aware that there are probably better options. Anybody know where to start with the jetting? Is the small body carb just too small?

Re: Re-jet small body 2gc for a 350?
My experience with the 2G's is they are great two barreled gas guzzlers...Yes, they'll work fine on a 350 BUT... Mileage and performance jumped significantly when I installed a Quadrajet...With that said, some of my greatest burnouts were made with a 2G feedin eight! Sorry, no jet info...Still have one 2G carb and intake that came off a 350 truck motor I'd let go cheap... http://www.chevyclassicsclub.com/wp-...f/tech0213.pdf
