Hey that is good to know thanks. I usually use wix but I haven't had bad luck with Fram either. I just hated that STP. Thanks for the info.

Re: Fram oil filter failure.

So there is no word back about the Fram filter that was mailed in ? My research led me to start using Purolater Pure One filters and change the filter out midway thru the oil's life.
They cost less than Mobil 1 and K&N filters , and all three filter very well.

The new Pennzoil Ultra oil is likely the best oil made in either an SN or backwards to an SM, but it is very expensive ,( but so are engines !).

No word, I highly doubt a company will talk about quality control issues on an open forum, He did not intend for me to send the filter, Doesn't know me very well.

I'm in a battle right now with TransGo & their crappy Boost Valves, "It must be Your Fault" Is the classic answer. Response...Your Boost Valves don't pass a vacuum test out of the box. Answer...Um, What's a vacuum test? Response...I hold my finger over the feed hole in the bushing & the Boost Valve falls out "Wet with ATF". Answer....That's normal. The rest of the conversation I cannot post.

Receipt from my local post office sending the Filter to Michigan.

Re: Fram oil filter failure.

I was just wondering what happened to the Fram rep. I guess when his standard BS response didn't fly he lost interest. Good on you Cline for sending the filter in.
