Re: Lets see those blazer interiors!

Those lower panels actually started out life as an OEM carpeted panel with a cardborad backing. The carpet was loose and did not fit very well. When the upholstery shop did the best they could with those pieces, they were not satisfied. They took the buckskin colored capret and the plastic vent and just built a custom panel around them. It turned out to be a unique way to make it look kind of stock and kind of custom at the same time.

Turned out awesome! Wonder if they'd make some for others?

Re: Lets see those blazer interiors!

Bit of a work in progress.

Just replaced the seat and put the top back on for winter. Once I get the rockers repaired id like to spray the inside with a dark gray bedlinen.

How easy or hard was that install?

The seats?

If that's what you're asking the answer is not too bad. I used 1/4 think steel bars and matched them to the stock seat holes. Then added holes for the new seats.

I used the factor bolts to secure the brackets to the floor and 1/2" bolts to secure the seats to the bracket. Took a weekend but there was no welding involved just a lot of drilling and cutting steel bars. I didn't add a single hole to the Blazer. I will tell you that you may want to add some underside reinforcement to the brackets since now a shoulder belt will be pulling against the floor.

Last time I looked LMC sold a few parts but not the whole assembly. It's a junkyard quest.

Re: Lets see those blazer interiors!

Are all Blazer driver seats a fixed base with only a slider? Did any flip up or have a forward folding back like older extended cab trucks?
