Why does it have 67 lugs on it???? Or is that original?

Those are just the studs that hold the spindle on, the wheel hub would have 8 lugs.

I think I found one of those in a local yard during my last trip under a 3/4 ton truck. It sure didn't look like a 10 bolt to me, I think i'll have to go back and check it out, had everything even still had the wheels on it.

That is a hell of a deal with gears and the lift block for steering.

I just picked one up empty for 400.00 for a buddy

is it an open carrier??

Don't know about everyone else, but I personally can't make the drive...

You most likely found a Hd Dana 44. Chevy only put the 60 in 77- 87 1 tons, unless of course somebody swaped it.

Actually they did put some in the heavier GVW 3/4 tons, the older trucks like 73-77 had the GVWR of a 1-ton but were called 3/4 ton trucks and had D60 front ends. So I speak the truth and D60's CAN be found in 3/4 badged trucks.
