Bill, please let us know how well they fit. Frame clearance mainly. Headers are the only thing I haven't decided on for my new exhaust. Thanks................

I've been runnin those headers for a year or so. I have the factory brakets with the alt on the driver's side and a/c on the pass side. I was running an unknown brand of headers before I went with the dynomax. Used a few washers to space some of the brakets out, but they are sturdy. The only problem I have is with my tall valve covers makes installing the alt. belt a bear. The coating is holding up good so far. Clearance is about the same as with my old ones, they do hang a little low, but no lower than the lower control arms (spring pockets). They come close to the rear lower control arm bushing but clear just a bit. No frame trimming was needed and oil filter isn't a problem.

I ordered the Chevelle headers to get more ground clearance. Jegs sent them directly from Dynomax. The problem I had was that the packing was pathetic! The collector flanges were lose on the pipes and scraped up the coating pretty bad. I called Jegs and told them about it and they gave me 4 options: Send them back, send them back for a new pair(but the same thing would probably happen), keep them and get $20 back, or keep them and get a $30 store credit. I liked the way they handled it so I got the store credit. I'll use them again I'm sure.

Bill, the plug wires run along the bottom of the valve covers. I'm using 8.5 mm MSD plug wires with the 90' boots. Haven't burned any of them at all. The old Accel with the straight ends tended to get against the header.
