Shock relocation (not extenders)

Has anyone relocated the rear shocks to get a better angle/more vertical? Thinking of moving them both to the back of the axle.

2wd, flipped rear with assassin traction bars.

2wd or 4wd ?

lifted or lowered ?

the reason there staggered 1 front / back is to help control axle wrap a little from the factory from what i have read over the years .

I went back and added more info. 2wd, flipped, assassin traction bars.

I did for my dually but I also ditched the leaf packs for a 4-bar w/rolling sleeved bags using the OE housing spring pad locations for the brackets everything attaches to. Both shocks are now mounted just behind the rear end.

it's not a bad idea for your flipped set-up (def better vs. the exaggerated angle the relocation brackets put the shocks at).

I thought about a 4 link but this truck is just going to be a hot rod cruiser, it was my granddad's and I don't want to cut it up a bunch. I have another truck planned and will probably be a built chassis, caged, and full stupid.

Mine was swapped strictly for ride quality & adjustment when pulling a trailer. C10's (c20's & c30's as well) ride so much better w/o the leaf set-up.
