Is it a new compressor? If you contact Viair they may send you a new leader hose. They did for a friend of mine.

My buddy stepped the lower Aarms. It gained me 2 1/8" drop. He also cut 6" bag plates on his plasma table and welded them flush, so I didn't have to mess with lower bag cups.
Here's a pic installed, and off before new bj's and paint.

He's a master welder and does a lot of heavy chassis fabrication, so no worries about his welds.

The rear is just F9000 sleeve bags on trailing arms, 2" blocks. Its setting on bumpstops just a hair off frame until I can drive out to his shop. Then we're putting a 3" pipe notch in.
So it'll drop another inch or so. I'm putting a bs in again. I just want to drive with back where it is now.
The laid-out trucks are kool, but I like alittle Hotrod rake.

Thanks, but unless you're heading 1 hour north, I doubt you'll see me.
Unless you end up in Boardman. Then you may...

I hope to make it there. Never been and it's not too far away so I should make it for at least Saturday.

Truck looks really good grumpy. Did you use drop spindles too or just the stockers with drum brakes?

If all goes well, we could manage to have 7 pretty *****in C10s at Salem...
if nobody sells theirs before then..

No, I used stepped lower Aarms that Matt built me. Stayed with drums on this one. But all new brake system front to back.

nice progress i love what youve done with it. very similar to my overall goals..with that bag setup what other things needed to be modified. just shocks? when layed out do the tires rest on the inner fender?

I have 205/75/15 tires on stock 15x6 steelies. With that said, I can fit my fingers on top of tire. So figure close to 3/4" space above tire when air'd out.
Im using the stock shocks still. They actually still have a half inch of compression when truck is air'd out. So no bottoming out.

But my stepped lower arms only gained me 2 1/8" drop, so just shy of typical drop spindles.

Thanks for the reply.

Re: Rattle Can Kustom!..A 12 week build..Can we do it..

Today brought truck not starting...
So after chasing wires, determined the ext voltage reg is dead, as well as weak alt.
So replaced with a late 70s style int reg alt.

Still waiting on new leader hose...................

And front bumper was lose, and found it to be tweaked. So it took 2hrs of fighting to get it close. Still looks off to me..
What do ya'll think?

Couple more pics cuz I'm a picture whore

I can ask him. Id imagine shipping something that heavy both ways, plus whatever he'd charge would make it pretty expensive.
Id guess you could damn near buy drop spindles and do disc..
But I'll ask him.

Well, its a driver...WooHoo
We drove it around the block a few times this week, then put about 40 miles yesterday.
Today we met my buddy Shane with his Shoebox, and Streetsteel{Matt} with his 63 burb.

Still needs aligned, needs timed n tuned better, but she's a driver.
