thanks Bob...I appreciate that...if I can do anything else, just let me know...

btw, I'll have pics up today of the cab...I took the tanks and motor and trans out today and while I had it up on the lift, I was going to take pics of the bottom of the cab for you, but I forgot...I can tell you that I didn't see any significant surface rust, I think there's more surface rust inside the cab actually...if you really need pics up under it, I'll jack it up in the yard and take some pics...I'll post pics of the inside floor tonight later or tomorrow sometime...

I'll also get pics up of the tanks at the same time as the cab floor...thanks fellas...

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

These are the tank pics...everything on the tanks works like factory...I haven't gotten the harness all the way out of the truck, but it's in excellent shape...they second pic is of the switching valve...the tank brackets are in great shape also...the crossover tubing for the tanks is also available...I haven't cleaned these up yet, but they will clean up nice...also, I didn't take pictures of the filler neck surround behind the fuel door, but I have them and the hardware and it's all in excellent shape...everything will be cleaned up before the buyer receives them...I just had a long day yesterday and had some stuff do to around the house today...also, it was below freezing outside and I really didn't want to be out there...

What do you want for the short piece of steel lines that run over the top of the passenger frame rail?

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

I think it may be the lines at the bottom of this pic, under the switching valve.

Hi Chuck,

Wondering if you'll part with just the front steering linkage....basically I need the center link, but if it'll be easier to pull the outer/ inner tie rods, pitman arm, I'll do that.....shipping to 28031 or if you're headed to the Charlotte area or Myrtle Beach I could meet a somewhere??...Thanks Geoff

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

let me see what I can do with getting it out alone...on May 8th, I'm going to Salisbury, NC for the Gathering of the Goofs for this site...I could bring it with me to that if that's not too far in the future for you...

I just checked and you should be less than an hour from Salisbury...you come swing by and come to the Gathering of the Goofs and get some grub too...

LOL...just checked the RSVP thread and you're on it...so you'll be there...if for some reason you don't make it, me and my family will be at the camp ground some of the day Sunday also before we head back home...

if you're talking about the switch valve for the dual tanks, then 87bob had first dibs on it...He's supposed to be paying me this weekend for it, if he backs out, then it's yours for $15 plus shipping...he's been pretty intent on getting it, so I'm pretty sure he's going to be buying it...

Driveshaft - I have still - $25

hardware for lights - I don't know exactly you want...I have the springs and the buckets that the lights mount into...the adjustment screws were toast, but they're only $2 and change for a pair of them...if there's something I'm missing let me know...$20 for springs and the mounting buckets

Engine harness - I still have - $30 - this mounts to the backside of the fusebox

headlight harness - I still have - $25

gauge bezel - I still have - $30 - this is for an A/C truck and it hasn't been cut for a cd player and has been painted silver

outside door locks - $15 - this includes two factory GM keys

Total $125 - package deal 10% off $112

let me know what you want...this stuff is going pretty fast...thanks man

Chuck.
