The Light of Day

I purchased my Blazer last August. Wanting to do things right, I pulled it into the garage to do an oil change and some basic tune up things before driving it around. Little did I know that it would sit in my small one car garage until yesterday.

One thing led to another (as you all warned me it would) and before I knew it I was in the midst of an LS swap. My goal was to have a driving project and learn about cars so I finally forced myself to stop taking things apart and start putting things back together.

Yesterday I started my car for the first time and was able to pull it out of the garage for the first time in 10 months. Can't tell you how excited I am. Off to the exhaust shop this week then I can start driving it locally. Hoping to enjoy it this summer with local driving, then look forward to learning more about rust repair and body work next winter.

Thanks to all of you that helped along the way; couldn't have done it with the great members on this board.

Re: The Light of Day

Thanks! At the exhaust shop right now and should get it back in the next day or two. Then I can actually drive it. At least until I take something else apart.
