any suggestions??

This maybe a long sorry so be prepared ha, so when I turned 16 I bought a 1972 Chevy c20 2wd, loved the truck and eventually found this forum. However I live in Spokane and we have some petty rough weather so I sold it and bought a 93 accord. Huge mistake, within a month it was stolen, everything was taken. So as soon as I got it back I sold it and bought a 90 Chevy 4x4. Decided for some reason to trade that for a 97 acura and within a week it was stolen. Now I got the car back, and am trying to decide what to do. I'm in college, and I work part time, I'm getting a truck, and I'm trying to figure out what to get. Insurance gave me 1700 for damages to my cat and I think I can sell the car as is for 3250 at least. I want to build a dd 4wd. What do you guys think? should I just get a newer truck longer my 90 instead? I really love these trucks and I want to be in the forum with y'all spring the sure and what not. Thanks Jake
