Who Wants a Longhorn Project?

I just found this on Seattle Craigslist (not mine). Thought I'd pass it along, because it looks like one heck of a deal. And the guy was even thinking ahead and took a picture of the SPID.

Re: Who Wants a Longhorn Project?

Why do these deals always pop up on the wrong coast???? That's a deal for somebody.

Re: Who Wants a Longhorn Project?

Give me some more details and I'm happy to look.

What year?
How far are you willing to go?
Price/ condition?
Engine/ transmission?

Re: Who Wants a Longhorn Project?

hi Cameron

71-72 would be ideal as disc brakes etc, preferably as close to the water as possible as it cuts down the shipping costs, and i am looking for one in a similar condition the the one on craigslist must be a v8 manual or auto not fussed.i am in no rush so i can wait until the right one comes along.

x2

I would if I had the space and $1900. That truck is close to me. I really hope a member of this board gets a hold of it.

Re: Who Wants a Longhorn Project?

Just waiting to get a call back to hear a little more about it before making the two or more hour drive up. He is itching to get his hands on another truck and he sure likes this one so I think it will have a new home very soon

Re: Who Wants a Longhorn Project?

Dang this is a great deal! I'm close to it too. If I had the $1900 I'd buy it but I'm knee deep in my 65 c10.

Re: Who Wants a Longhorn Project?

Looks like we had four other ahead of us on the truck. Two have passed and he is showing it to two others on Friday, so we will have to wait and see. Hope they pass too!!
