70 Build

New to this site and just wanted to post my pictures as I go through this build. This is my first GMC/Chevy build. Taking the paint down to metal currently. Have quite a bit of parts on the way so I will be updating with photos.

I plan on keeping it on the road for the most part. The only plan I have is to bag it,paint, and wheels. Then going to replace misc. pieces that need to be replaced. New carpet, upholstery things like that. Oh and shortening the frame and possibly cutting the bed down if I can’t find a short bed for a reasonable price.

Re: 70 Build

Thats cool, I kind of wish I had done one at a time also... instead I did what so many do and took the entire thing apart thinking ill slap it back together in a few months. lol, that was 2016.... but Im on fire for it again and parts are arriving pretty quickly so with any luck maybe I can drive it again before the summer is over. Good luck!...me too with the air ride, paint , wheels, AC, gen 5 ls swap, etc....

Front bags installed

Installed the front bags and put on my 22” wheels. Still need to either cut the inner wheel wells or take them out so I can sit lower
