Can't wait to get it finished!

Hey guys, finally got the truck home and thought i'd post a few pics. I've been trying to buy it from a buddy for about 5 years. It's had some work done on it, but needs alot more. It should keep me busy for a while. I'll try to keep the restoration updated on here.

Great start by your buddy. What are your plans for the truck?

You have a great lookin' truck to start with. Are you going to use the six and high performance it? That would be cool. Good luck with your build.

Nothing too drastic at all, just finish out the body and interior and get ready for paint. Gonna keep it stock looking. The wife wants to drive the 68 camaro to some cruise-ins and thought it would be cool to have a his/hers chevy combo.
That's the plan for now, of course by this time next week i'll be ready to slam it to the ground and drop a powerplant in it! lol

Never change your mind on your build. It turns a one year project into a five year project and double the investment. I speak from experience.

Having said that, inline sixes done up are so cool.....

That's my state of the art, high tech, one of a kind......gas tank from a lawn mower. lol
Don't have a fuel cell built for the truck yet, so it works to drive it up and down the driveway.
