8 - 10/32 button heads with a harbor freight tie down for handle. Will have remote posts for charging and jumping.

The idea was stolen from Kabwe! He just used a original style 47-54, but they are expensive and I need 2 of them.

Sorry Waybad, Didn't see the question. I'm going to use 4 doors to make 2. That way theres only 1 seam to weld. Like Wickid54 did to his 1954.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN

Well it's taking awhile to find time for the truck but we finished the floor, except for the trans cover extension, but we need the seats in to see about a console first. Tuesday the roof?

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN

We installed a piece of 1x1 by15" square tube inside as backing and strength for the door frame. OK so one side done, one to go then skinning.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN

i missed your post where you miss sliced the ham
nice work on the cab stretch, i so wish i had done that
figured it would add a yr to my 8 yr build

i met this guy 2 yrs ago on the hrpt, his front doors were stretched 6''
he also pancaked the roof 2'', not suggesting you do that (do it, do it )

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN

Well we're back! Been busy. So here we are today to update. We got the 2005 Silverado seats to fit. Mounts made and seat bolted and operational. Finishing the trans tunnel and driver side floor to mount steering and reposition the brake pedal.
