Finally have motivation

I have been kind of busy and have not touched my truck for close to a year so I decided to make some changes. I bought a new welder and installed a lift to help my progress as it is to tough lifting cabs and beds by yourself. I welded on my rockers and am finishing the underneath the floor. I am going to gravel guard and paint it and the firewall and should have it on the frame in a few weeks. I bought another project and found pushing 2 vehicles around was a PIA so decided to finish one.

Re: Finally have motivation

Expensive cab lift but hey, who am I to say anything! Must feel great to be back at it with motivation,.
I'd like to help you out financially by purchasing the banner on the wall behind the lift. It's the least I could do.

I like these kind of threads to see what others have in their garage, you know, non invited snooping.

The convertible?

What are the dimensions of your garage, it looks huge in the picture.

66 Beaumont SD convertible, one of less that 70 known to exist. Garage is 30X32 and not big enough.

Watched a program on History channel recently that discussed the Canadian models. Some were sent to South Africa in RHD form.

Some interesting stuff happens behind the scenes if you keep your eyes open.

Very cool. I have seen a few RHD models. The South American 60-66 trucks have a very different design also from ours.

I finally got over the hurdle of painting in my garage. I primed, rock guarded and primed again and am ready to put some color on.
