Coolant crossover between heads?
How many crossovers are needed on a very mild SBC. My heads don't have a center crossover and the intake don't have the rear crossover, is having only have the front crossover acquitted?

Re: Coolant crossover between heads?
Coolant only flows in the front and rear. The center ports are for egr. Typically the rear ports are blocked by the intake and the fronts are used. What your seeing is completely normal.

Re: Coolant crossover between heads?
There are no true crossovers in a sbc. Water from pump into front of block, flows thru block, up into rear of heads, thru heads and out to the thermo in the intake.
So how many crossovers are needed would be 'none'. |
