Brothers LED tail lights

Is anyone here using Brothers LED tail lights in their mid 80s square body?
If so, what is your opinion of them?
Thanks!

I bought the standard size 1157 LED bulb off of amazon direct bolt in replacement. Extra bright to keep idiot texting drivers from hitting me!

Re: Brothers LED tail lights

sylvania zevo series led replacement . also watching video's and personal testing always get red for red and amber for amber or clear if turn or marker . the white don't fill up the red / amber lens as good as the same color .

std 1157 bulb pic 1/3

zevo 1157 red led pic 2/4

and these are a crapy old 2 mega pix cell phone pic taker .

i also did a test with 4 ways and 1 led 1 old bulb and WOW what a reaction time difference . the old would be almost out and the flasher would hit again . . . . the led was BAM on/off and faster on time .

Any issues with "hyper-flash"?

I haven't done LED bulbs yet in my truck, but in preparation I put a Heavy Duty, LED rated Electronic Flasher in. the Heavy Duty version has a slower blink cycle, plus the electronic flasher VS the standard means no "Hyper-Flash"

I will say I have done the flasher conversion on other trucks with LED lights, and never had an issue with the "hyper-flash"

and the relay is only $10 or $15, small change when converting all bulbs anyways.

sorry forgot to say i run a solid state replacement flasher i got from a older parted out truck and no problems with flash speed .

its funny as my in-dash turn bulbs are still 194 bulbs and i watch them go dim/bright / dim / bright as i watch the reflection outside of the led go on / off / on / off .

only thing not led is dash bulbs and plow lights .

heads up if you swap front outer side fender bulbs they NEED to be non-polarity sensitive . the power leg is switched one side for marker and other for turn . i had to get my amber 194 bulbs over at superbrightled.com and select non-polarity sensitive and then my side front markers worked as normal .

if anyone ventures over to ck5.com here is the master thread i did of my whole led swap with lots of pics . https://ck5.com/forums/threads/l-e-d...lights.335580/
