sold 2 items - updated 10/27 / LAST CALL on these before I advertise them on other sites/craigslist/ebay...so if there's something you're interested in...shoot me an offer!

No...truck came with the 305 V6...and would rather sell as a set.
If you think a v6 rod will work for you I'll digit out and measure.

Re: new and used parts - carb's, fuel pump, 200-4r, LSx parts, etc

Thanks for the great deals, Kurt! Great meeting you. I got pulled over just outside of Abilene for "trailing too close". I don't even think there was a car in front of me! Anyway, he asked where I was coming from, where I was going, what's in the case. After I told him, he says, "There aren't any transmissions in Odessa?" I almost giggled but decided to keep my mouth shut so I could just get back on the road. Still had to show him. Ah well, good road trip regardless! Thanks again

Re: new and used parts - carb's, fuel pump, 200-4r, LSx parts, etc

OMG...what did he think you were hauling....a dead body?
That's ridiculous...I could almost see it going towards DFW...but not the other way around? Was it a state trooper or local PD?

Was great to meet you Pedro. Hopefully we'll see each other again at some Goodguys or other happening. Sorry you had to go thru all that just to head to the "big city" to come pick it up. Also sorry if I talked your ear off....had taken my afternoon/evening meds early, to be "up" for the visit so to speak. Always seems to happen with my condition tho...flip side is being too tired and achy to do anything but lay in a recliner or bed.

So what did he say when you opened the trans case with exactly what you had described as its contents ... and there weren't any "illegal/contraband" items in it for him to hassle you about?

OH...and BTW...I forgot to include the tiny funnel that goes with that dipstick. PM me your address and I'll ship it out to you.

He was a trooper. He was very straightforward. Wouldn't joke, smile, nothing. When I opened the tranny case, he just rolled right back to business. Not a "Thanks", or "Looks good." Just off with a warning, but like I said, still not sure if I did anything wrong! Haha!

It was great shooting the bull with you. 12 hours of highway time, it was a good break. I'll PM you my home address.

shows to be $11.35 for a Medium box...which I think I can get them both in. If not I'll eat the difference between it and a Large box.

How about a nice round number of $100 shipped for the pair? If so, PM me your shipping info and I'll give you my paypal address.
