CPP shock hardware

Merry Christmas to you all.
Will someone please tell me what the little fork looking tool that comes in the bag with CPP shocks is for. I'm doin an install and hate not knowing what it is or thinking I've got leftover parts.

Thank you Name: image.jpg

Re: CPP shock hardware

It's an optional shock mounting adapter, we don't need them on our trucks. You should have 2 of them. You can toss them or hold onto them for future projects.
