new stereo

I'm going with this stereo (and I'm cutting the dash to put in).

In California by 2008 everyone driving has to have hands free cell phone usage. That means one of those dorky earpieces or bluetooth intergrated into stereo (or just pulling over).
This stereo has bluetooth & one of the best Ipod interfaces, though not perfect. I figure I can hook the Ipod up in the glove box as there'll be no need for CDs soon anyway.

Also going with 5 1/4 speakers with tweeters in the kickpanels, 6X9s in the rear corners, one 10 bass (gas tank is moved) and appropriate amp. Not the cheapest but not too much I think. A little over a grand installed.

I'll let you know how it sounds.

Re: new stereo

Theres a USB plug in the back. I think the cable plugs in there with the Ipod connection on the other end. I plan on routing it into the glove box and just hooking it up and tossing it in there. I have a shallow box due to A/C so there's not much that would fit in there anyway.

Re: new stereo

Sounds like you're gonna have a sweet setup. That Alpine deck looks pretty good.
