Having issue with radio noise
So I put a filter on my plug wire like suggested. Now the damn thing won't start. Do I need to install a primer bulb as well?

Re: Having issue with radio noise
The filter goes on the primary side of the ignition, not that it's going to help much!

Re: Having issue with radio noise
See, this is what pisses me off about the internet. If it's not blatant misinformation you're being fed, they're always leaving out one or two critical steps to ensure success.
It looks like they forgot to mention you've got to pre-fill the filter with miniature lightning bolts. To get rid of the radio noise, try cutting the wires to the speakers, you should notice a change in the noise immediately.

Re: Having issue with radio noise
That's a fuel filter. It only works when there is fuel in there

Re: Having issue with radio noise
If it were a metal filter that wouldn't have turned out that way. Those dern plastic filters get eaten up by ethanol.
