'69 with 275/60 15 Drop 2" in front and 3" the rear

My Burb has the same size as my 67 stepside had. 275-60 on 10" rear 245-60 on 8" front .

Every time I think about new, bigger diameter wheels...I go back to...Why? What I have just seems to be right.

As it turns out, with (4) previous classics, the only one I moved from stock 15" was my '78 Trans Am. I put 17'' wheels on that one but, I already had them and the snowflakes needed to be refinished.

Yes sir! Currently running stock 15x6 5 lug steelies and 235 75 tires, using 2” drop blocks in the rear to level it out. Haven’t had any luck finding a decent K truck so going to lift this one. Was originally going to use 4” lift spindles for an 88-98 and flip the rear axle under the trailing arms, but not sure that will be enough for the front, so I may get diy 4x hangers and just put a leaf sprung Dana 44 up front. If I go that route I may swap out the trailing arms out back and opt for leafs all the way around for continuity. Would be a lot easier if this were a short bed truck then I’d lower it 3/5 and call it a day lol.
