Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
If you were referring to my primered hunk...
it is a stylin concepts 5/5. - front is 3" spindles and 2" springs. (i removed the bump stops altogether- after 4 or 5 years my lower control arms are toast) - the rear is a simple flip. the wheels are 17 and big n little tires give it a little rake. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
the mount that holds the bumpstop on mine is crushed, and i was thinking of just taking the whole mount and bumpstop out, do you have any problems? hit it a lot?

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
2 problems with removal.
1. it gets a little bouncy and the tires will rub fenderwells on a big dip 2. no steering stops from lock to lock, so you have to be gentle. ** not too much crossmember bottoms, but a few hard hits on potholes etc have wreaked havoc on the leading ege of my control arms... |
