Actually, mine will be finished in gray leather with a matching stock-type dash pad.

I like Putters as well....I like this thread and got another good idea for the dash bezel I want when I get my truck.

I am gonna need an old dash bezel...one that's in good shape but something I can get out of someone's garage for just shipping cost. I want it for the pattern itself. Anyone have one laying around they don't want?

Scooter...I agree 100% that the wood is amazing looking....BUT, I really want to know what color the dash pad is??? (I don't remember seeing that one in the catalog!!) Is it custom dyed? That thing matches perfectly!!!

I didn't do anything special. I saw a thread on the FAQ board about mounting them from behind. I held my breath and tried not to pass out while giving my credit card number to Jegs & Summit for the gauges. I followed the FAQ suggestions for mounting, but made minor changes to the actual mounting steps & wiring.
Lather.
Rinse.
Repeat.
That's about it. Nothing special really.

Not sure but I think the PO had Wabbits recover it in the same material they did the door panel and leather seats. Actually the dash and door panels are vinyl, but matches the seats pretty good.

Autometer quit making that size fuel gauge. You may find one on Ebay. Good luck I have been looking for quite awhile now.

Yes they do. I was just refering to the one that Mudder had and that longroof was commenting on. And If I didnt have most of the Pro-Comp series already I would use the Phantom series.

I think I may have gotten one of the last 3 3/8 fuel gauges Summit had. I went back and tried to order another a couple weeks after I got that one and they were out.

Well, why don't you sell the gauges you have collected and go with the Phantom....not that I have a buyer in mind or anything (***wink, hint, wink***)

Does anyone know of a bolt-in fiberglass replacement dash? I want to do some serious modifying - without the sacreligious cutting up of an original dash. Than I can probably sell my perfect red dash on e-bay for more money.... heee heee
