Man, I don't mean to put anyone down here, but dropping a truck that low wouldn't be my first choice. I'm old school. No low-pros, no wheels over 16 or 17 inches, and just a mild drop.

I would represent the opposite end of the spectrum..... I like 'em low. But..... I don't care for the body dropped on the ground thing. I like it low, but it must be low & functional.

Not liking super-sized rims is actually one definition of old school since they are a modern trend,after all.I am biased against the large diameters,I`ll admit.I`m old school.It would look so much better with realistic sized rims in my opinion.And high enough to clear a turtle id always good IMHO.

I to like them low and big wheeled. To get a good ride with bags it need to be able to drop to the gound when aired out. Then raised up for ride height in ordered to get the proper suspention travel and steering geometry. But I must say Slow Build is baged and body dropped but my latest project Low Buck is only a 4.5/7 drop on 15's and it is starting to grow on me

I have the magazine with the article in it. I think its going to be a nice truck when it is done. I like the stance, wheels and body mods. I'll be interested in seeing it complete.

As for the wheels/drop debate- I like them both ways. I appreciate a fine truck on big wheels and 15's.

A 4/6 or even 5/7 drop with 18's on front and 20's on rear I think are perfect. I'm old school in the opinion that air bags aren't for me. The guys I know that ran air bags 5-10 years ago, have sold the air rides and moved on... not saying it's not cool, just that it just gets old the more miles you put on them (as I'm told). I think a lowered ride done right in the above mentioned levels are perfect for me.

I like the truck,especially the vintage flavor being given.We can have our preferences w/o stepping on other`s.As far as biggies go,the right ones were picked for this truck`s flavor.

i'm not a big fan of the dropped and big wheeled look myself, but i do appreciate the work that goes into achieving that. i cant say i havent seen some that i really like, cause i have. i just would never do it myself, not my style.

I like the truck and the work and effort that has been put forth to accomplish what we are all seeing here. I don't like to use lables as I find that we end up having to live up to them. I like 15's x 60s or 15 x 50's or for big and small old hot rod look do a combination (I guess this is leaning towards old school.)

Having said that when I look at this truck the way the mod's have been done and the wheel/tire combination it's perfect. This guy really is pulling it off .... and I'm not a fan of the big wheel thing and I like this very much.

The engine combo and styling is the sickest thing I've seen in my life!! I've been thinking about the script VC's for a long time, but having to drill pcv, fill holes, etc. just makes me cringe! Somebody needs to repro these old school covers for a modern 350. I'll take mine in Chevy Orange!

Is that the same Rodney Payne that built the really sick (in a good way) black 30's Ford pickup with the Daytons on it? I love that truck. Post a pic of that if you've got one.
