Talking ...and now for something completely different...

did a little experimentation with a set of 17" steelies off of an FJ Cruiser. threw a coat of Dupont single stage and clear on them and got a full set of NEW General 235/55/17's from Craigslist.

call me a sucker for gray steelies. I think these are the 3rd set I've experimented with. these rims have a bit of an offset (5.0") so a few spacers and viola! AND there's no worries about clearing the axle stubs since the FJ's are not hub centric!

bought a full set of NOS 89-91 4x4 center caps that I was toying with installing, but I think I like the naked look.

oh yeah. picked up yet another cooler. this is starting to get ridiculous....
