Re: 66 C10 Door measurements

Thats what i was afraid of;
The bottom of the repops (Ecklers) is 40 3/4
1/4 too big

Not sure what to do now?
Trim them back?

Re: 66 C10 Door measurements

Hoping someone can compare with an original door.

here are 4 measurements across the door.

I know across the bottom it should be 40 1/2. I'm at 40 11/16.

can someone please measure the other 3 contact points.?

the top measurement i have 37 3/4

the other 2 which are in the center section in the curve of the door are both 40 5/8.

if this is too far off i guess i will have to find an original set of doors to restore.

thanks all. Keith

Re: 66 C10 Door measurements

I have three sets at home. I will measure them tonight.
I had just read a comment on another site that said the doors for these trucks were originally made by several different suppliers and that they could be different depending on who made them for GM. Never have heard that before about GM sheet metal.
