TH400 Driveshaft Brake

This is a drum style brake for the TH400 and TH475 transmission. Just bolts on in place of tail housing. All it needs is a single cable to operate it. I was going to use a trans tunnel mounted lever from an old Chevy Vega. Very simple setup. This was removed from a very low milage motor home. 150.00 picked up in St. Joseph. MO.
Can possibly ship.

Re: TH400 Driveshaft Brake

This would be perfect for a long chassis truck like a camper or rollback. No need to run mile long rear E brake cables, just one very short cable.

Re: TH400 Driveshaft Brake

Would be perfect for a custom truck with TH400 running disc rear brakes, too. I'd buy it for my short bed project except I'm using an M22 4spd. Might could machine/fab a tail shaft housing but I'll just let it be. Hmmm...
