Spindles, springs and shocks came from ECE.

Note the tires on the TT wheels were staggered. The Torque Thrusts are gone now, but I think the tires were 275/40/17 rear and 255/40/17 rear.

The white wall tires in the second pic are all the same size.

Goldilocks has 215/75/15 fronts and 255/70/15 rears. Rear tires bout 1-3/8" taller to give it that ol school rubber rake, reminds me if what was running round back in the day. Also helps the cruisin rpm with 3.73 rear gears.

You could go 225/75/15 on the front but would only be about 3/4" rake. But it would slightly fill the wheel wells better.

Re: Static Dropped 67-72 Post your pics!

seems like a few of these pictures that have 5/7 drop with 15" wheels that some are way low and some are not so much that there is major difference with just looking at it, any reasons why?

Re: Static Dropped 67-72 Post your pics!

Some are done the right way & some are not some people buy drop springs some people cut their existing springs that may or may not be worn out (sagging)
Never go by another mans drop his spring may or may not be as good as the one you're using a cheap spring may be labeled 1 1/2 inch drop & give you a 2" drop.
And another thing on a DD I wouldn't recommend a 5/7 drop unless where you live they have really good streets. I'm in Houston,TX so that's a big no-no for me.
Hope that helped

Re: Static Dropped 67-72 Post your pics!

'70, original 402, ps/on/ac. I put on CPP front 2 1/2" drop spindles disc brakes with tubular upper/lower arms. No change in front springs or shocks. Rear has coils only, put on CPP 3" drop coils. Plenty of room underneath, thinking of going to 4" or 5".
