Re: c30's lets see em flat beds, dumps or flat bed dumps.

I finally went and looked at the 72 c30. The frame is rotten beyond repair where I would feel safe using it to haul, so that one has been checked off. Now to go look at the 67 I mentioned earlier.

Re: c30's lets see em flat beds, dumps or flat bed dumps.

Here is one with a Rollback bed. original 6 cylinder. I like the Mack Mirrors.
needs complete restoration. Not mine but I found it for sale in South Central Florida if anyone wants it. I think the guy want $1200. just the rollback bed is worth that.

Re: c30's lets see em flat beds, dumps or flat bed dumps.

My 69 C30. It hauls my water and with sides I have for the bed hauls and dumps just about anything else. I was hauling myself some gravel last summer and the loader operator dumped a bit more than I thought. I was at about 13000 lbs and the old girl handled it like an absolute trooper. I was 3K over the GVW!

It's only a C20, and it doesn't dump, but it is a flatbed

Interesting story about powder coating.I bought this truck from upper Massachusetts...turned out to be to rusty..a friend bought it for the bed.He is putting it on a C.O.E. chassis.Powder coater was able to get whole bed in booth.Blasted top and bottom and coated it black [with bin doors off] complete bed was done for 2000.00$..

Re: c30's lets see em flat beds, dumps or flat bed dumps.

Hey rob, I thought this door came from a race truck.
Funny how parts get around.

Well my c30 don't dump but my k20 does.
Since I haven't had any serious offers on the c30
I'm still considering combining these two together to build a 9ft k30 step dumper. It would be a cool truck.

small world in this truck hobby sometimes....from what I was told that ramp truck at some point belonged to Frank Lupo....his father owned Fairbanks Racing Automatics and he is owner of Dynamic Converters...cool that you got the door. I saw you had the 1 ton on craigslist I figured someone would have grabbed it up you had it priced more than fair.keep it those are neat.
