SQUEEEEEEEAKING!!!! clutch petal

My 79 k10 has the loudest squeaking clutch petal I hav EVER heard.
I have greased, cleaned, wd-40'd, etc. nothing seems to work for more than about two days, or so.
Any suggestions?

Re: SQUEEEEEEEAKING!!!! clutch petal

There is a plastic bushing in the pedal pivot and if you are still using the mechanical rod, where that connects to the petal is metal on metal. Replaced my rod with the hemispherical rod from LMC. That helped all my squeaks.
