You wouldn't say that if you saw the look she gave me when I said I was going to look at them.....

Actually she is pretty good about it but I am getting to a point in my life where I need to think about getting rid of some stuff instead of buying more.

Besides the two family cars I have 8 older driveable vehicles and 3 projects.

I'm just lucky she hasn't strangled me in my sleep...

Doing pretty good Rob. I just get carried away at times and suffer for it for a few days.

You could not go wrong by picking these up. There is enough interest in this thread alone to generate a future sale.

Re: Looked at this truck today

Well someone on here needs to take it home one way or another so we can see how that red paint buffs out. This truck would be well worth the investment from the little I can see.

Re: Looked at this truck today

My dad had a step side when I was little. I would love to have one now. I think it’s a good buy for the price.

Haven't made up my mind yet. I am going over and take a few more pictures in the next couple of days.

Finally made it over and took a few more pictures, The truck is tight against the wire on the passengers side and the drivers door is close to a support post so the door won't open very far. The bed is full of stuff but the floor is in pretty bad shape. Tailgate doesn't look too bad but it is hard to see also.

I live in a Ford county in S.C. I will never be able to find anything like that here. If I could buy that one I would sell my 72.

Re: Looked at this truck today

Nice use of $1500 Doc. As for rust, at least it was sheltered.

I found out today that this truck was gifted to the owners Nephew. I know him and will reach out to him to see if I can be of any assistance in helping him getting it running or providing parts. He is a nice guy.

A board member bought the Suburban in the link in the first post above.
