My 70 has no front panels for hte doors, the third door panel is shot and the rear panels might be useable once cleaned up...

Does any one make these aftermrket. I know I can get front panels w/out much trouble from the aftermarket guys.

ALSO:

What do you do to replace the door window felts for a suburban as the front doors are not the same as the ones on the trucks?

Not interesting enough title or does everyone know something I dont about Suburban interior parts?

You can buy the felt kits from LMC, ChevyDuty.... probably more. The door panels are the same as the trucks. I don't think anybody makes the rear panels. What color are you looking for? I have a complete set of green ones.

Brothers has the rear panels, but they ain't cheap.... About $500

I was told to just cut the seals at a 45. Worked out well. I can post pics if you want.

As far as the rear panels go, I made some for mine from wall panelling. If you're not into the wood-grain thing you could always cover them. Pics in my sig.

What were the steps to make that happen?

Where did you get the rubbers for the door cranks?

When can you come do mine???

Heart, sent PM about Green parts, hopefully they are the right color to look good with my interior.

MrGood, Ill have to get on to Brothers Website and check it out. I've got to get something in the truck to make it presentable and soon. Too bad they are so expensive new.

Frizzle, have seen your panels and they look great. Not sure if I want to make that much of a change right now. I need to clean it up get the funky smell out and have somethign presentable for the wife more than anything.

Thanks for the tips on the weatherstrip and chanel. I am near to starting that project so any pics would be great.

Any othere Ideas?

I just found a set of 86 suburban seats (front buckets, middle fold down, and rear) That I am thinking aout getting, as my 70 only came with a front seat and it is from an unknown vehicle and is funky smelling too.

Any Ideas on Seats , or is that another thread...

Actually right now the sun is hovering about 5 feet over Yuma. And it is not scheduled to leave for another 3-4 months.
