ok guys I have some aluminum wheels on my BlaZeR2 and they were pretty trashed when I bought the truck and I have tried almost every polish on the market to try and get these wheels to shine back like new. But they only get slightly better but not new looking. I try this several times a year with several diffrent polishes, and nothing works. I have jsut wanted to sand them down and start over but I just don't have the time or a spare set of wheels to do this.

Here is what I have will this stuff work on my rims??

If they are clear coated this stuff will not work until the clear coat is removed. Not so sure you want to do that. If they do not have clar coat on them I think it will clean them up really nice by looking at the pics. I would try to cantact the dealer or the company and see if they are clear coated. You can try a little aluminum cleaner on a rag to test. If the rag or cleaner turns black rather fast they probably are polished. (no clear). You have to be careful doing this tho. Dirty clearcoat will turn the rag black also. I read that clearcoat should be treat like a painted surface. I've not messed with it much.

No these are not the clear coated ones. They are offered in both clear coated and non clear coated. And these are not. I don't believe the previous owner took care of them at all and possiably used the wrong kind of products on them.

Like I said I have gotten them looking better with polishes before but they've never look spectacular, and I have spent more than 8hrs polishing them before.

So I'll talk to the wife and see about ordering some and see what happens.

I want to get rid of the wheels but the wife really likes them so they stay.

Get the oxidizer and the purple. The oxidizer will loosen the oxidation and allow the purple to remove it easier. Once you do that you can just repeat polishing using the purple. Once the rag gets black keep using it. Seems to help remove the bad stuff. Buff it off with a cleaner towel, etc. It will take a little work the first couple times you do them, but will get easier the more you do it.

Ok, I'm a sucker. I can't resist the pictures and the testimonials on the site so I ordered the de-oxidizer. the purple polish AND the M Ron Glass wax - I've got to try it all

Yes please post before and after pics! I haven't ordered it yet but that's becasue it's winter out side so I cant even try it until spring, so I'm waiting.....

I love the MRon. Best looking wax I have used. It does attract a little dust but isn't as bad a some of the ones I have used. Very easy to apply and remove, even in direct sunlight. You can apply it and remove it with the same terry cloth towel then wipe it down with another clean towel when you are finished.
