Opinions ?????????????

Took windshield out today and have been assessing rusted areas needing further attention. Happy that (I think) the rust around windshield is not to bad and passenger side rocker area ditto. What do you guys think on fixes for both. Pictures are kind of bad but overall rust is not. Inside of cab is actually the worst the whole thing looks jagged etc. Any help on fixes would be greatly appreciated. I will also mention the Harbor Freight will be delivering my mig welder and media equipment within the next week.

I’ll have to say that I have used a harbor freight mig welder and it went back after the first use. It was a piece of junk. Bought a 110 Lincoln and it was night and day better. I’ll mention that I have seen these fixed with some sheet metal and a bender. Eastwood sells a stretcher and shrinker for a reasonable price that will give you the curves in the corners.

Re: Opinions ?????????????

Funny I’ve actually heard some really decent recent reviews on the Harbor Freight welders.

As far as fixes I think there are a couple of for sale threads on the board offering cab cuts. You might look for those.

You can’t post a wtb though unless you are a board subscriber, cheap at only 25 bucks for an entire year

Re: Opinions ?????????????

Maybe they are better now. That was about 8 years ago. I would try it out first but that was my experience.
