Re: Pics of your truck in the snow

We were surprised with a White Christmas this year! Angus looked pretty chilly, but he fired right up after sitting under the snow for four or five days! It piled up probably six more inches that evening too...

Re: Pics of your truck in the snow

I woke up to this, this morning. I know this is pretty pathetic, but this is a pretty normal snow here in Warm West Texas.

Re: Pics of your truck in the snow

A little dusting like that is good for it. We're supposed to get dusted tonight or in the morning. I just saw where above average temps are predicted this winter for the a big chunk of the eastern 1/2 of the country...central and south

Re: Pics of your truck in the snow

This is as close as my truck has been to snow since 2001 when I bought it. With that being said and being an Alberta truck I'm sure it has been out in snow since being new.

Some nice looking trucks under that white stuff. Anymore, this one rarely gets dusted, even up here.

No - not a post card - just the view from my back door with a little digital camera.

Everybody relax. Snow doesn't hurt a car or a truck one bit. The salt that comes with it is heck on unprotected metal and that junk pushed up against tommyhotrod's truck might have caused issues but if it just sits off the road in the snow, no harm will come from that.

I use my truck all winter to plow my driveway (no salt) and drive to and from the fish house on the lake (no salt). I've seen NO additional corrosion from doing this since 1994.
