Re: 1970 K5 Project

This weekends progress. Worked on the doors. Stripped em down and welded 49 holes. I think every PO put a different set of mirrors on this thing. There was a little bit of damage on the drivers door from the wing being pryed open during a break in.A few before pics.

Re: 1970 K5 Project

Ok its been a few weeks since I last updated my thread. Got real busy with work and didnt have much time over the last few weeks to work on my blazer.
I have finished the interior wiring here are a few pics while I was routing the wires. I will post some more pics of the finished dash area this weekend. Bought a new Kenwood deck and installled it while I was doing my wiring.

Pulled the front clip off my doner truck today. And also cut the frame off to repair my frame. It was pretty messed up. Here are a few pics.

Re: 1970 K5 Project

Also I put the inner fenders on and the core support so that I can continue with my wiring. And laid my rubber floor in to let it relax in a bit before I fit it.

Re: 1970 K5 Project

Little update here on my progress. Finished wiring the engine bay.Cut the front floor mat in. Finished running all the inside wiring too.The wires in the back are for dome lights and some speaker wire also. Was putting my door back together had it all done and was rolling the window up and down to check it and the darn thing broke loose of the metal track at the bottom of it.
So I took both windows to a auto glass place to fix them both. So now I have one door all finished and need to work on the other. Front clip is all painted. Didnt take any pics of it yet. Going to work on interior panels next so I can get seats and roll bar back in. I put the fuel tank back in and hooked up all my fuel lines. Here are a few pics.
