New and can’t wait to get my own build going

What a blessing this site is for us all.
A little about my find. 5 yrs back I was painting a home for a older lady.
One day while eating my lunch I saw a truck off in a field sitting under a tree.
Curiosity got to me ,so I went over to look it was a black 72 Cheyenne 4x4 swb fleetside.
Needless to say loved it… I had a 69 swb c10 in high school. I was a truck guy then and wasn’t afraid to show the others in there novas and such, trucks can do burn outs too..
She told me her late husband bought it new and parked it there when he wasn’t able to drive no more and didn’t want to sell it.
But after she realized I wanted it to keep and take care of it , she gave it to me.
A blessing….
The real kicker is about 2 yrs ago
My youngest son wanted us to meet his new girlfriend.
So he brought her over.. while in backyard bbqing it up she asked me, where did you get that truck ? I told her the story and she said. That’s my grandpas old truck… sure enough it was.
2 yrs later they are married with a new son.
So the build is for me and someday he’ll own his grandpas and great grandpas as well….
So far, all apart, cab and doors done. Frame and all running gear next.
