Door handle fit
Does anyone know if this is normal? Just looks like to big of a gap. Driver side is perfect.

Are you reinstalling a handle that was already on or is it a different one?
Is the plunger rod too long holding it out? Sometimes on the rh side the rod need shortened a bit because it is a shared part with a Suburban rear door. Just guessing. Would need to see a picture.

It's touching on the right side so I would think it's not the rod. These did come off another truck. I'm trying to figure out if maybe this door isn't original or had some work done to it.

is it a '67 handle? I know they're different. but I don't know how/if they fit in a newer door....

They are both the same so if they didn't fit then the driver side shouldn't have I would think.

dont just roll with it water will get in and mess sh!t up rust etc
i would pull it of and go at it from inside of the door with a wooden end of a hammer and tap the hammer lightly and slow till it levels out don't do it in one shot super light taps even if it take a hundred and it should bend out without damaging your paint (the end of a broom handle cut off would work too) |

Get behind it and try to push it out. Avoid hitting the very edge and you shouldn't chip.
