Jimmy is home

I am very happy with my new ride, got it running last night after sitting 14 years in a garage,,,,
starting on the brakes tonight, there a mess, here is a few pics.

need to work on the brake,,,,for there is none...

can't seam to find and front rotors ,,,,any help .i checked local store's none available..

does the hub go with the rotor ?

I found mine at Summit. Drilled and slotted for about $50 each.

really i will look again,,,

are they just a regular rotor,,,,,because i need the rotor with the hub neck..

unless i just need to beat it off there, seamed like it was one piece

Two piece......knock the studs out..it'll come apart...

From the picture it looks like you have a lot of meat left on them you sure you can't just get them turned. Any shop that can turn them should know the spec.

Technically the lugs a pressed/swedged in through the hub. I know 1000's are knocked out and back it and it rarely causes a problem. CHeck for run out/ wobble before you finish assembling the unit

There's a heavy knurl on the shoulder that swedges the hole in the rotor and hub at the same time.......... I have reused old studs but usually where maybe just one breaks and I don't pull the disc off the hub. Just knock in a used one and go.
When I replace the disc...I put new studs in and press each one a little at a time.........that centers the disc and hub.....

brakes are done....just waiting on one rear rotor, then bleed them ,,,,

can't wait to drive it. taking it to the Good Guys show this weekend....
