Larger fuel tank

Years ago (about 15) I had a really nice K5 that I did a ton of work on, converted to 3/4 ton, built 383 etc. In the process I found a company in Oregon that had a sweet 32 gallon replacement tank made out of steel 16 or 14 ga. complete with sender and everything. Literally a bolt in deal. I loved that thing. Anyways, I'm working on a customers K5 and would like to sell him the same deal, but for the life of me I cannot remember the manufacturer. google is not cooperating with me at the moment. Any help?

Re: Larger fuel tank

little bit more information here. Guy in the last post says he has one and is in Cali. Not sure if he still has it or not.

Re: Larger fuel tank

Wow, I couldn't get over how much they wanted for those tanks considering there's only about $75 at most in materials. Do like I did and build your own.

I don't have the time or want to accept the responsibility. The tank is still available. Just have to pick up the phone and call. Customer wants to go for it. 550-560 delivered.

Re: Larger fuel tank

I have one. Powder coated black. Cant use it anymore because I converted to 2wd and larger tank will not fit with panhard bar. I had to buy a new stock style tank. At least I don't get the sticker shock at the gas pump anymore when I fill up!

Sunset bought the tank division from nwmp, they don't list one for the early blazers/jimmies but they're still available. I believe they still use the Stewart Warner sending units too.
