1/2 ton caliper pin bolt

Need help, I stripped out a caliper pin bolt on 83 1/2 ton. I need the thread size Were I can tap it out or Heli - coil it. Don’t want to replace spindle it’s a 2.5 lowering one. Thanks !!

I did the same thing on my C20. Napa had a "repair" pin that I used. Slightly oversized threads and a little harder steel to cut new threads. Worked good except they say it's a one time use only.

I looked when you 1st posted but couldn't find a definite answer...sometime in the early 80s they went from standard to metric...take one of your bolts to your local parts store,,,or fastenal if you have one close by ...most have a thread pitch gauge and they can tell you if its standard or metric....

Brazed up the sides of the hole in mine and re-tapped it for the stock pin, figured if that failed the oversize pin will be plan B.
