Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Finally finished reading all this. Great work, looks like you are getting close to done.
I'm about to start on mine but it will be no where near this level.

Thanks...I started out just going to do a nice clean simple re-do but I’m such a detail freak that it snowballed it to what you see here now.

Re: off it goes

I might not comment on this thread much, but rest assured that the moment I see the "off it goes" at the top of the forum list, that's the first thing I click on.

I'll admit that this truck is not my style. To me, a truck is a rough and ready 4x4. However, anything with this level of commitment, thought, and effort is absolutely worth paying attention to.

It's been fun following along. Particularly now that you're on the home stretch. I'm particularly anxious to see some more pics of the engine bay. I understand that you held off on showing some of your mods, because you wanted those to be seen in the final reveal.

Thanks man...I really appreciate it, you are correct, I have held posting engine bay pics. We are getting to that part of the build now, motor is in just have do all the stuff around it. Under the hood is not over the top with wild mods, just did a clean simple tidy engine bay, there’s lots of mods but so subtle only the purist will realize the details. Once again thank you for the compliment [/I]

Those kick panels look cool, just when you'd think what else could they do, something else comes out the hat.
