Re: she's been waiting 18 yrs for her make over

[QUOTE=FRANKENSTEINC10;6512720]couple of things!! first I like the approach you are taking with all the "easy to overlook" stuff. any of us can build a nice truck in short period of time. but it takes dedication to rip one down to the frame and spend the extra time and money to blast and coat everything. secondly, you have inspired me to move back to TN and spend every weekend in that humongous shop of yours.
Thanks Frank, you welcome over any time.

Re: she's been waiting 18 yrs for her make over

I have been idle for a week and have because moog ball joints don't fit cpp drop spindal's. Moog's fault... BUT I did get the trans rebuild and then I wire bushed it and painted it. I hope the new ball joints will be here next week and I can get started again.

Sorry just seen this, I went with the cpp ball joints and they did fir nice and I really like the boots. They were high but at that point I wanted something that fit their drop spindals.

Re: she's been waiting 18 yrs for her make over

I worked on the gas tank last night, sanded with 220 ,zinc primed and painted. The inside of the tank was in very good shape only and spot or two with surface rust, but I decided to seal it anyways.
